Help silver surfers

Age Concern North Craven is searching for a volunteer to take over Silver Surfer sessions.

The sessions provide one-to-one IT tuition for older people on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at Settle and Bentham Libraries.

Christine Broadhead, chief officer with Age Concern North Craven said: "We really want to continue this scheme, as the internet opens up a whole new world to older people, principally those who are lonely or isolated.

"Being one-to-one means sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual."

Contact Age Concern North Craven on 01729 823066.
