Bosom Friends launch hospital petition
Barnoldswick and Earby Bosom Friends hare to launch a petition to keep out of hours oncology care at Airedale Hospital.
Sally Lambert, chairman of the Bosom Friends, said: "We are hoping to get lots of support on this very important matter.
"We want to see cancer services stay at Airedale, not be moved to Bradford."
The petition will also ask management at Airedale to continue to build on and improve the service that is offered to cancer patients.
The group has asked members of the public to go to Barnoldswick's Town Square between 10am and noon on Saturday and sign the petition.
Bosom Friends member Mary Brennan said; "It's time to stand up and be counted on this issue."
Anyone wanting to take copies of the petition to help get more signatures should contact Sally on 01282 812796 or Mary on 01282 814917.
