Tiffany to field young line-up in opener

New Wharfedale coach James Tiffany has laid down a challenge to the youngsters who performed so convincingly in the warm-up matches - do it again when it counts!

With one or two notable exceptions, the team he is putting out at Cinderford on Saturday must be one of the youngest ever to wear the green.

Local teenager Chris Howick is in the starting line-up in the No 7 shirt, while Dan Hart, now clear of injury, is on the wing.

The bench carries three more youngsters, two of whom have come through the club's junior section.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Wharfedale: Adam Whaites; Dan Hart, Andy Hodgson, Mark Bedworth, Chris Malherbe; Luke Gray, James Doherty (c); Tom Horner, Gavin Hindle, Chris Steel, David Lister, Antony Capstick, Oliver Renton, Chris Howick, Alastair Allen. Replacements: Adam Mason, Peter Altham, Gavin Jones, Mark Simpson.
